I hope these pictures come over okay. Ed sent them, they are from the training center in Yakima, where he just spent 10 days. Pictures are from the observation post and outside the barracks.
Here are some pictures of Ed's new home. Apparently, the accomodations are nicer than in Ft. Lewis.
There are 2 men in each room and the room is wired for the internet.
He is still working on getting a phone to call.
He does now have an Egyptian driver's license though and is taking classes to speak some Arabic.
Ed says it is about 72 degrees now and there is a nice breeze blowing in from The Red Sea. The only problem though is that there are only a couple paths they can take to get to the beach since the area around their compound is full of land mines. What a comforting thought.
Here is a picture from the back of Ed's trailer.
Just a couple more pictures from his combat water survival training.
On this page I will do my best to keep all of Ed's pictures and e-mails organized as well as ours to Ed. If you have any Pictures, Notes or Links you would like me to add, e-mail the info to me at SQWIB@aol.com
If you would like to send Ed anything, here is his address Spc. Edward Breslin. MFO 51/ South Camp B Troop 104th CAV 31530 APO AE 09833-31530
